  1. Cole,
I have been praying for you and this time you will spend at the ranch. I prayed for God to prepare you for how He wants to speak to you and for you to be willing to listen. The ranch provided me with a bit about your story. You sound amazing! This week will be a time for your growth with the Lord. I am so proud of you for being a part of this week.

  2. Cole,
I woke up this morning and you were one of the first thoughts that came to my mind. I saw your smiling face on my refrigerator (that’s where I have your picture and information I was sent). I reread your information and I again, said a prayer for you. I prayed you make great friends, friends you will have for a lifetime. I also prayed for you to work hard, but have FUN so much fun you are just overflowing with smiles. I read that sometimes rules and directions are hard for you to follow so I am praying for God to give you calm so you can hear the directions, understand them and the peace in your heart to follow them. Cole, I am so glad you are doing this week at the ranch. I believe God has a special plan for you this week. Take this week to learn everything you can about our great and merciful creator and Savior.

    1. I saw pictures of you and your horse, so amazing!!!!!!! Looks like you made a very special friend. I posted a message on your blog site this morning. I could not get service until today because of our location and so that is why I did not write. We miss our little Kiki!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Hi Cole its Ken
Read that you are having a great time , fantastic. That picks my spirits up too. Feeling sorry for myself. Then i read what the group was doing and if you all can come together then I can too. My prayers are with you and your leaders. May the Lord be with all of you and have a good time with Skip. Talk to you soon

  14. Hi Cole,
I wish I could have come last night to meet you and Skip. I love animals! They teach us so much about God. Think of all the different animals and how different they are. Think of Skip and how big and powerful he is but yet gentle. I’m glad you are having a good time. I am praying for you every day that you feel God with you, you have fun, you make friends, you are encouraged, you learn about God and yourself and can see how unique and special you are.

  15. Cole -It is great to see all the pictures of you and the other campers. Smiling and having a good time. I pray that you have been making friends with all the other campers but want to tell you that “Jesus” is the best friend you can have. He loves you so much and wants to be your friend. I hope you are enjoying your horse and learning about animals. They love unconditional just like God. Be open to what God wants you to learn for the remainder of the week. We look forward to hearing about more experiences. God Bless!

  16. Hi Cole
I pray that everything is going well. If not take a deep breath and say a little prayer. I hope the show went well. I give you and everyone else credit for doing what you are doing. Horses and I dont see eye to eye. Thats because I didnt receive the proper training like you have. Enjoy and I’m praying for you

  18. Hi Cole!!!! WOW you have amazing pictures posted from camp and with a beautiful horse, too. I especially love the picture with the brown and white horse, it looks like he became a great friend. I am so glad to see you having fun and growing in your walk with Jesus. We miss you so much and think about you all the time…KIKI! Have fun and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience. I am making an album on my computer of your pictures for you to remember your time at camp. Keep praying and talking to Jesus….he created you and brought you to us because he has a very special plan for your life.

  19. Hey Colton –

You don’t know me but I wanted to drop a note to just say that I’m praying for you this week. Our good friend Kevin is one of your leaders this week and my big brother Dave is another one of your leaders.

People like me, who love our friend Kevin and my brother Dave know that our God is a God of HUGE things – in fact – things that you might think are impossible. I pray that you see His power and might and feel His unconditional love. I hope and pray that you’ll open your heart to the God of the universe this week. The Savior of the world made you uniquely in His image and loves you just as you are!!

Colton – you’re on an adventure of a lifetime this week and with God on your side, there’s nothing stopping you!!

  20. Hey Cole

This is Ken. Sounds like a good thing happening these next few days. I dont know if you are into hunting and fishing but this is where it all starts. I enjoy both and it gives me a chance to do things with family and friends. More importantly it gives me time to be with God and see his creation. This time wright now gives you the chance to learn how to do things now and in the future. I pray that it goes well and that you may learn and grow from this. Please have fun and think of all the memorys you’ll have

  21. Good morning Cole. I thought of you right when I woke up. I hope you are having a ton of fun and growing in all of your experiences. Hope for good weather on the trail!!! Remember that you are loved by God and the family he gave you. Boomer misses you so much and searches the house for you too. So cute!!!! Enjoy your new friends and activities.

    1. From Cole: hi mom I miss you and I miss the family can’t wait to see you tomorrow. I can’t wait to be home in my own bed. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚β€οΈπŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ‘

  22. Hi Cole, I just looked at all the pictures and read the counselors notes. I saw how you commented that riding bareback was a little painful. That brought me to memories of when I was a kid. Our neighbor use to let us ride his ponies. We would ride and ride and the next day we were VERY sore. I can appreciate what you must have been feeling. I am praying for your 11 mile journey. I imagine there are some great times and some struggle times. Did you know God is there through good and bad and wants us to grow closer to Him through it all? While I don’t like the times that are hurtful or super challenging or make me uncomfortable, I have learned the most about God during those times. I pray that you are having a great time and lots of fun. But I am so praying that during the times that are really hard or uncomfortable or you just don’t want to, that you allow God to teach you and see His marvelous guidance.
    Blessings, Kathy

  23. Hi Cole

Just saw some pictures of where you are. Well at that time anyway. The place looks beautiful. I pray that everything is going and will go okay. Not everything is easy but at the end it is well worth it. I pray for your strength and health and patience for your leaders not that they need it. Try to see Gods hand in all that is around you. When its dark and the sky is clear look up and see all the stars. You will be amazed

    Later, Ken

  24. Hi Cole

Just reading up on somethings on the blog. You had some rain. Hopefully no storms although lightning is neat to see. At home here my daughter and son in law had a tornado go over their house. They live in the city of Wyoming. So i am very thankful you didnt have that. I pray that your experience has be remarkable and thank God for all he has done. Have a safe trip home and thank the leaders for all their work
