  9. Hello Dylan- We are praying that you will have a great time at camp, make new friends and find the best friend in the world “Jesus”. He made you and loves you so much so does everyone at the Ranch. You are part of God’s plan and purpose . Jeremiah 29:11 For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, to give you a future with hope. Do not believe the lies of the devil and this world but trust in the Lord, he is our protector, healer and redeemer and friend.

  10. Hi Dyl,

Hoping you are having a good first day. I know when we set our mind to something we pray that God will help us, I ran my first 5k today in four years. It was hard but I set my mind to it and God helped me make it. I look forward to seeing conquer goals you thought you couldn’t. Mind set is the lesson today for me.

  11. Avoid getting overwhelmed by all the love your getting via message. Try spreading them out ea. day! Who is the person you find yourself talking to the most while your there? Which kid you observe gets the least support from fam/ friend? Find out what makes them interesting wud u? Find our way besides being there you have in common!

  12. Hi Dylan

I looked at the pictures and videos that were posted. What an awesome day you guys had. I am sure the rest of the week will be even better. In my reading this morning I thought and prayed for you. This is what it said “Learn to enjoy life more. Relax, remembering that I am God with you. I crafted you with enormous capacity to know Me and enjoy My Presence. Enjoy God today and everything else you do.

    Pam

  13. Just a quick note of important words, i thought were fitting! Please share with Darrin as all the boys should hear this……..”As long as you see what you’re doing as unimportant or insignificant, you won’t do it with excellence. What makes it incredibly important is the fact that that’s where God has you now; you’re not there by accident. It holds the key to you rising higher.”

    Love you,
    Mom

  14. Hey Dyl!!

  15. As I pray this morning, I can’t help but think how tough life is sometimes. How our ups and downs push us around. But remember one word. That word is “strong”. Be strong in Him. He will help you be strong to conquer this time. Have fun. Lean on Him and you will be amazed how strong you will become.

  16. Hello Dylan- What great pictures of you and the campers conquering fear and completing challenges. We are so proud of you and want you to know that you can do more than you imagine. When I have doubt or fear I turn to this verse. Philippians 4;13 ” I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” We pray that the enemies attacks are squashed in the name of “Jesus” that you grow in love, peace and joy that each day you are blessed. Enjoy today’s blessings, mercy and grace that our loving Father gives us each day.

  17. Hi Dylan my family and I are praying a special prayer for you tonight. Please open your heart to GOD, hear what Pat and the other leaders are sharing with you. You can do this, make this more than just a fun week, make it a week that you listen and as a parent of a teen that attended RR in the past, I can tell you that you will look back on this as a transformational moment in your life.

  18. Hi Dyl,

Today I was relaxing because of being a little sore from my race and I enjoyed my day I took time to see what God has given me… I am blessed with many things and you are one of them. I am thankful for all that God has blessed me with. Lesson today: respect others and know they are a blessing God has given you to learn with, grow with, to enjoy each day.

    1. Glad to hear back from you it’s been awhile since I’ve talked to you guys. Thank you for getting on my page and having support.

  19. Good Morning- Remember God’s mercy and grace are new each day. It’s awesome to know we can start fresh each day with God and yesterday along with any mistakes are in the past. The pictures of the lake and with the horses are great with all the smiling faces. Glad you are enjoying all the beauty God has created. God’s greatest commandment is love and we are to love all has he loves us. May you be showered with love for yourself and all the campers today and that friendships continue to bloom. Remember the golden rule from Matthew 7:12 – “Do for others what you would like them to do for you. “

  20. Good Morning

At the beginning of each chapter of a book that I am reading the author writes little sayings. This is the one that I just read. “Everybody needs love. Everybody. Those who don’t believe that frighten me a little” I thought of you as you begin a new day. Open your heart to all the love you can receive this week. Give and receive love and watch what God will do in your life. God Bless and Keep looking up.

  21. Hi Darin
What a day with the horses you must have had. It takes a lot of courage to do those things, But courage is a word you must have. God is so good. Continue to lean on him for more and more courage. You are a special person and He has great things in line for you. Have another great day.

  22. Dylan…i am so glad you are at RR. I have enjoyed getting to know you and look forward to our time of sharing over the next months. i also enjoy reading the comments from all. i can tell you are a special person to your family and friends. have a God time this week.

  23. Dylan,
As I sit down to think about all the experiences you are having, I thought about my favorite quote. “Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become habits. Watch your habits, for they become character. Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.” ~ Lao Tzu
This quote is something you will learn and understand one day, its meaning is powerful! Think about it, ask questions if you have them.
    Lots of love and hugs!
    Mom

  24. Good evening Dyl,

I hope you had a good day and are learning, trusting, giving and enjoying the blessing God has given you today. It’s Monday, I had to go to work and run. As we grow into young adults or even old adults ( lol) we are accountable for many things, going to work or school, doing daily chores or homework, let God guide you into a young man with his grace, shine thru him by being accountable for the young man you are becoming. Love you !

  25. It is privilege to pray and think about the time you are having this week. We have not meet but I am getting to know you from reading about the experiences you are having and all the comments you receive from family and friends. Stay strong and open to what God is showing you this week. Connect with HIM and your life will be changed. Keep looking up. Pam

  26. Praying for a great break through in your life. Dylan God has a special thing planned for you. Believe and know that He is God. Amazing things are ahead. Won’t always be easy but will be amazing. Have a great day.

  27. Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have – life itself. -Walter Anderson

CHARACTER! I would like to ask you to think about this tonight. Mom and Dad ask so much of you everyday. We know you may not always like what we ask of you, and sometimes life throws us curve balls of disappointment. But it’s how we respond, that will make it positive or negative. I challenge you to stop, and think, and respond positively especially in a situation you may not like.
    Hugs and love,
    Mom

  28. Hello Dyl

I have been thinking a lot about you , saying many prayers. Grandpa and I pray you are learning new things about yourself and God. Grandpa and I pray you are feeling loved and supported by the other campers and the leaders. Grandpa and I pray you are happy and excited for each new day and smile that it is.

Praying for your mom and dad and Aleena ,that they seek comfort in knowing you are going to come back a changed young man with an look look on life and god

  29. Hello Dylan- Amazing pictures, Amazing times, Amazing God, God’s time. All things happen in God’s time. God’s timing is always perfect. As a youth I struggled with this as I wondered why things did or did not happen in my life but now looking back I realize it was my timing not God’s. I encourage you to seek God’s timing for all things in your life. He will never let you down. He is a perfect and loving friend. Be open to all God has for you at camp, your a great kid and are very loved.

  30. Wow the week is going by fast and soon will be over. Don’t miss every opportunity that God and the team are giving you to grow, change, and experience. Embrace where God has put you this week and learn as much as you can. My husband and I have two grown kids and the saying that we always had in our home while they were growing up was “Finish strong”. So Dylan today I say to you “Finish strong” You still have quite a journey ahead of you this week so give it all you can Keep looking up.

  31. Dylan
As I read your journey’s of yesterday, I get tears in my eyes because as I pray for you I want God to provide you with great things, yet I know He will but will you grab ahold of Him. I can only pray for you. Have a great day. Give all, be all, in Him.

  32. We are really missing you! I hope you are having a great time and learning so much. We can’t wait for you to be home and share your experiences with us. We love you lots!
    Mom & Dad

  33. Dylan – we are so proud of what you and the others campers have accomplished so far. The pictures show so much fun and new experiences. That’s what God has to offer is new experiences and a plan different from what the enemy or the world has to offer. His plan will change your life forever and will give you hope and a future filled with love, joy, peace and is everlasting. He will never let you down, nor will he ever leave you regardless of what you do in life. He does bring us through change and it may not be easy but in the end we are better because of it. God knows all we need even before we do. We pray you will accept God’s plan and experiences for your life and lay down all fear, doubt and hurts.
Psalms 37:5 “God has a reason for allowing things to happen we may never understand his wisdom but we simply have to trust his will.”

  34. Another step in the journey of the week. Leaving the horses behind and finding God out in nature is the next part of your journey. I pray for safety, endurance, strength and great weather. I do not know if you like this type of thing but I do pray that you will give it your all. What an experience. Be still at times and listen to what God is telling you. Enjoy these days.

  35. Dyland,
I am so proud of you. A light in the darkness. Keep growing, keep listening for Him, and keep watching for signs and opportunities. I learned something not too long ago and it may help you. Anytime you feel any uneasiness, any fear, or you just want help, whisper the name “Jesus”. He will come close to you surrounding you. Then just talk to Him. Again I am so proud of you and your journey. I ask for strength, safety, and endurance for you the next few days. Have great fun!

  36. Dylan

  37. Hey Dylan –

You don’t know me but I wanted to drop a note to just say that I’m praying for you this week. Our good friend Kevin is one of your leaders this week and my big brother Dave is another one of your leaders.

People like me, who love our friend Kevin and my brother Dave know that our God is a God of HUGE things – in fact – things that you might think are impossible. I pray that you see His power and might and feel His unconditional love. I hope and pray that you’ll open your heart to the God of the universe this week. The Savior of the world made you uniquely in His image and loves you just as you are!!

Dylan – you’re on an adventure of a lifetime this week and with God on your side, there’s nothing stopping you!!

  38. Hello Dyl,

My heart is filled with so much love and grace for the time you are having, the opportunity you have to grow and learn. When I was a little girl the one thing I longed for was the love of God and Jesus, today many years later I can close my eyes, say a prayer or call his name and I am warmed by their grace. Think positive, say a prayer, know that if their was no one else, God will always love you. I encourage you to listen, ask questions and trust in yourself and God.

    Love you
    My little frog!

  39. Hello Dylan – We hope that you are looking forward to your next experience in the woods. It’s a great place to get away from all the noise and things that can distract us from God. The beauty and quietness of the woods is amazing. It’s a great place to focus on what God wants you to learn. We pray that your heart is open to this.
Psalm 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

  40. Hey: You are hiking in the woods. I don’t know if you like that kind of thing or not but I can only imagine how awesome it must be out in God’s country. Look around you and see what God brings your way. You might see something that no one else sees because God has something special for just you. God loves you and wants to show everything about himself to you. God Bless.

  41. Maybe your your head says I’m tired , I need a break. Remember scripture where God says “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me”. I often rely on that verse in Phillipians 4:13. It helps me focus back on Him. Have a great day. God is moving in you. Anytime uou want Him closer just whisper Hos name, “Jesus, Jesus”. Dylan have wonderful time.

  42. Hello Dylan – Wow – What an accomplishment that you and the campers made it the waterfall. I hope that you are enjoying all the beauty that God has created in the woods from the water to the sky. Ecclesiastes 3:1 states there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Your time is now and we pray that you are open to what God wants to show you over these last days of camp. We are humbled and honored to have the the opportunity to pray for God’s children. You are a blessing from above and loved more than you know.

  43. Hi Dyl,

My heart was so happy seeing the pictures of God country and you reading my favorite book! I always learn more just by reading it. We are so excited to hear about your journey, your new friends, all that you have learned and be a part of your team as you grow. God and your family will not fail you. Continue to pray, read and trust. God is good. Thank him for allowing you this opportunity to grow and learn.
Enjoy your next day with your new friends, be proud for what you have done and how far you have come.

    Love you
    God bless you

  44. Again I say “Finish strong” It is so awesome what God has done in your life and the lives and everyone who was with you this week. Take what you have learned and allow it to change you. You will never be the same. God Bless You.

  45. Dylan- Congratulations to you and all the campers. What a great accomplishment completing all the goals at camp. You have great memories and the pictures that show it. You will always have both to reflect on and see that God was with you the entire time. Our verse for you is Jeremiah 29:11 states “for surely I know the plans I have for you says the Lord to give you a future with hope. God Bless!
