  1. Cody,

My name is Michelle Woods I am truly excited to have the chance to pray for you during this adventure. This morning I pray that you feel God’s presence throughout this week. May you be open to the tremendous opportunities HE puts before you. And may you grow closer to HIM as you challenge yourself each day!

    HAVE FUN!

  2. Cody,

I am very excited for you, for this week, and after. I pray that God will work in you life more and more. CHR is an amazing place and I hope you enjoy your time with your horse – they are amazing animals God created! I look forward to hiking with you later this week on the trail!

  3. Hi Cody!
My name is Gwen! Although this is my first post, I have been thinking a lot about you and hoping/praying you have a good week at camp! It will be an opportunity of a lifetime! I hope you take advantage of every opportunity this week to step out of your box (our comfort zone) – and try some new things. Make some new friends, admit things you never have, pray to a God that loves you (us) more than you’ll ever know, trust those around you (even though you don’t know them), and just have some good clean fun! That’s what camp is all about. I pray for a good day/evening for you today. It’s beautiful here in Allendale and I hope it is up north by you too! Have a good one! I’ll be watching the site for pictures and stories! Go give it your all! 🙂

Great to meet you yesterday. Man, you would have a tough time convincing someone that you had never shot a bow before! What a natural you were. I’ll be praying that you have an open heart and mind this week, and continue to grow as a young man.

    1. Hi grandma and grandma I’ve had a amazing time so far I really enjoyed spending time with the horses my horse was named mouse ironically I have been thinkin about you and can’t wait to see you again I’ve had a lot of new experinces like zip lining hatchet throwing rock wall tubing paddle boarding I am getting ready for bed right now and will be leaving tomorrow for the manistee trails.love you and I will see you soon!😁

  13. Hi Cody!
Hope you’re getting some good sleep tonight. A new adventure awaits you tomorrow (Thursday). I know today was not an easy day – having to say good-bye to your horse. It is a special memory you will never lose. You’ll look back on that time with good memories. I am sorry I didn’t write yesterday, but I hope my prayers were being felt. Hopefully you had a little ‘something’ in the back of your mind, tugging at you – that was me and God! 🙂 Know that we are both rooting for you! Cheering you on! Loving you! You are His making – He’s your creator and king – and he doesn’t make mistakes! Try to live for Him. When you go to make a decision – ask yourself, “Would God be happy with me and the decisions I am making”? I know sometimes I have to step back and ask myself that – and I have been a Christian all my life. Sometimes I still mess up! The best part is – He forgives me. And then I get to try again! God will give you second chances too! Try to do your best always – but when you don’t, talk to God. Ask him to let you have ‘do-overs’ – to let you try again. He will. He’s pretty awesome that way.

I hope you have a good experience on your trip this weekend. Be patient and be kind. Remember, you’re all in this together. Work together and help each other out – it will make the weekend go much smoother! Be a good leader.

I look forward to seeing the pictures and hearing the stories about your first day on the trail.

    Have a good one!
    ~ Gwen

  20. Wow! What an incredible God we serve. Seeing the work he is doing throughout this week is truly amazing. Prayers are being answered.

How is the trail? I love hiking! I can only imagine how tough walking the trail, carrying your heavy backpack, might be. Remember, you are not carrying this weight alone. HE is with you each step of the way.

As you walk along the trail tomorrow, remember to take time and pray. My favorite part of hiking is spending time in prayer while giving thanks for HIS incredible work.

    Hike on!
