  1. Dylan pushed himself further than he thought he could go on the climbing wall! He set a goal for himself to reach a certain point and he made it!

  2. Hi Dylan it was so nice to meet you at the send off on Saturday. Our family has been working with the ranch for a long time and although the send off is always a time of excitement and anxiety its also a fresh start to new things. We are praying that you can open your mind and heart to this opportunity, that the Holy Spirit makes a clear path known. We pray that after 1 night away from your mom and family everyone is settling in, that your mom is feeling strong yet comfortable that you are in good hands. We pray that you are creating new positive relationships with the other teens and work together in good ways. May the LORD do amazing things through the staff with you this week!

  3. Hi Dylan!
Just read that you pushed yourself on the climbing wall! I have to admit, I haven’t done that before, seems a bit scary, was happy to hear you made a goal and stuck to it! Cant wait to hear what God has in store for you!

  4. Hi Dylan-

Just wanted to send a quick note to let you know that we are continuing praying for you and that god continues to guide and comfort you during this journey. I know it can be tough sometimes but everything happens for a reason and there is a reason why you are there…. have fun with your horse this week! Such a cool thing to experience!!!

  5. Dylan,

It was very nice to meet you last night! I was soo blown away and impressed the way you “owned up” to whining while you were in the “hot seat”, and also I could hear you telling some of the other boys that they were going too far, and only making things harder.. It’s clear you have leadership skills, and I pray that you use those all week, so that the other boys can learn from you!

  6. I Love hearing these stories about Dylan pushing himself and recognizing things that show his maturity and that Dylan can be a strong leader. Dylan I hope you feel confidence in yourself and stay positive and strong. May GOD bless you and protect you!!

  7. Dylan-

It looks like your day is off to a great start! It looks like you a great time on the water! I have never used a paddle board but would love to try it some day. I was so happy and impressed read the message about your leadership skills, that is a true gift to help guide others! Keep it up!

Be Brave, Be Bold, Be courageous- Joshua 1:9

  8. Your welcome Dylan! Leadership skills is not for everyone…. I know the next few days on the trail can be trying and challenging! But as I mentioned in a previous pos, god puts us through things that may be hard to understand at times but he is wanting you to lean on him, talk to him and develop a relationship with him. You are a child of god and he cares for you deeply. No matter how broken we are (because ALL of us are broken in some way) it’s his way of getting us to draw closer to him. So any frustrations , anger, anxiety or worry that you have moving forward this week (and beyond) just be comforted in the fact that he is there and he will get us through it. Put it in gods hands and trust that he will 🙂 praying for continued guidance… you are doing awesome!!!

  9. Hi Dyl just wanted to say I love you and miss you❤ hope you’re having a great time can’t wait to see you on Sunday

  10. I love you Dylan and I’m so proud of you for what you’re doing ❤ keep up the good work and know that I love you so very much ❤

  11. Hey buddy Grandma just called me and said she’s having a hard time getting on here and wanted me to tell you that she loves you and misses you and is very proud of you 😁

  12. 7 days into this experience and I am sure you have been tested and learned so much! Here is a bible verse I saw today that made me think of you—“Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.”
    Philippians 4:9 NLT

  13. Dylan, my man!!
I was SO excited to see you wearing that Broncos t-shirt at Cran Hill this week! Jesse thinks I’m silly, but they’re forever my team 🙂 Our daughter, Frankie Jean was excited to see you riding her favorite horse, Misha this week too. You did an excellent job, and I hope you learned a lot through the experiences at CHR. Praying that the trail is an amazing time of learning and growth for you. As I’m typing this note, I am reminded of one of my favorite verses for facing difficult times or new challenges, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” – Phillipians 4:13 NKJV. I remind myself of this verse often, as I struggle with anxiety and even some bad habits. I’ve learned that it’s ok to feel vulnerable, because our God is a good and mighty God that wants to help us through these struggles. We are never alone when we have Him in our corner, cheering us on. He’s provided all of you guys with a team of amazing men on this journey as well, and they are being utilized as vessels for His work in your life. Never forget how much you are loved.

    Go Broncos!!!!

  15. Hey, Dylan I finally got on here for a second time – wrote you the first time and posted it but it’s gone so thought I’d try this again. I am so very proud of all the wonderful work you are doing !! You and I have talked many times about our Great Father above and many times I told you he is the way – do open your heart and let him come in. When you get home you will have to tell me all about everything you’ve learned . Our God is an awesome God and loves us all ..Bless you honey and know you are loved and missed !!!

  16. It’s the Home stretch, go get this Dylan, finish the week strong by practicing the things the leaders have been teaching. Listen to the Holy Spirit during your alone time let GOD guide you…and be ready for an emotional celebration tomorrow, this is your time to shine!!!

  17. Last post as you go forward…”This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
    Joshua 1:9 NLT
