  2. Michael,
I hope your having a good time at camp. I work with the group on RR and know you have a lot of great adventures ahead. I am sure the climbing wall was fun and a challenge. Remember to challenge yourself on this trip to have an open mind and heart. We are praying for all of you.

  4. Hi Michael!
We hope you are settling in at camp! We are excited to hear all about your adventures this time at camp. Praying you take your experience at camp that you have and use it to help out when needed!

  5. Michael,

Good morning, how was the archery game last night? We rented that for a youth event once and had a blast! Looks like you guys are having great weather and a great time.

I love the subject of our devotional time yesterday morning. It is both humbly and incredibly encouraging to think about how great God is and how much He loves us! Just to think that the creator of the universe, the God who holds all things together is intimately involved in our lives and is drawing us closer to Him,

I hope you have a good day today and as you go through the day take some time and reflect on how God is with you every step of the way.

    Have fun today Michael!!

    1. Ryan, thanks for praying for me and I hit two leaders at once during the archery tag! Patrick and Jesse with one arrow. We looked for dogman today

  6. Hi Michael!
I’m praying for you and asking God to continue the amazing work he is doing in your life. I know you’re having a good time and I pray you take advantage of every opportunity God gives you to grow in your relationship with him throughout this week.

  7. Hi Michael,

We hope you are enjoying your time there at W.A.R. We are praying that you learn much from the great leaders you have with you, and can grow your faith in God. He is always there for you when you need him, and he can be your guiding light when you start to have troubles.

We hope all of the activities have been a blast. Looks like the archery was fun!

    Have a great time, Michael!

  8. Michael,

That’s awesome I read the blog and it sounds like you guys had a riot last night looking for the dogman. You are blessed to be with a great goup of leaders, I have known Pat, Lee and Matt for a while now and they are all great guys who genuinely care about you, make sure to really focus in on what they are saying.

The next few days I will be traveling for work so my posts may be at randon times, but I will be following blog and continuing to pray for you man. Today I am praying you continue to develop freindships at the ranch and have a great day!

  9. Hi Michael,

My name is Izabel and I’m 13 years old. My family hopes you’re having a fun week and learning more about God. I know he is working in your life and creating your story. I went to a Christian camp and wanted to share something with you! You are a puzzle and God is putting the pieces in place for you. He is making your puzzle perfectly. Even if you run into some trouble God will guide you to the right piece of the puzzle!
    God bless,
    The Porras Family

  10. Michael,

Hey buddy sorry this is so late today. Been praying for you though and I hope things are going well. I want to encourage you over the next several days to really step out of your comfort zone. I know the whole Remebrance Ranch experience is probably out of your comfort zone, but really try to push yourself. When we push ourselves into unfamilar territory is when we need God to show up ad true to His word He always does and it is such a blessing to experience God in that way!

Keep having fun and I look forward to reading the blog tomorrow and see how all you guys are doing!

  11. Hi Michael!

Today you are starting your big hike! This is will be a HUGE accomplishment for you all – 11 miles is a long way to go, but we have faith that you can do it!

We’ll pray that you stay strong, both mentally and physically, and that you will take some time during your hike to reflect on the God’s beautiful creations. We also have a BIG prayer request for God to remove the clouds and the rain during your hike!

Just a little over half way through this adventure and I’m sure things are getting tough. I hope you continue to stay positive, listen to your leaders, and enjoy your new friends.

Hang in there buddy and DIG DEEP for your hike!

    Many prayers!

    Paul

  12. Hope your enjoying camp and learning a lot and being a good example. We saw your pictures on Facebook of you climbing the wall, team building and arm wrestling. Enjoy the hike and we’ll see you on Sunday. We love you Michael. Love Dad and Mom

  13. Hey Michael,

My family and I hope your having a great time. My sister and I think it’s pretty cool your hiking for 11 miles! That’s hard journey! But we know you can do it with God on your side! My sister hopes that your growing closer to God and learning that God loves you no matter what. We’re all praying for you!
    Thoughts and prayers,

  14. Michael,

Good evening, I hope your first hike day went well and that you guys stayed dry. The last few days will probably b your most challenging as you continue to hike and you guys get tired. One of my favorite versus since I was about your age is Philpians 3:14 ” I press on towards the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Jesus Christ.”

Keep striving to reach the calling God has for you this week Michael and finish strong .

Make sure to have fun too 🙂 and tell Patrick and the other leaders I am praying for them as well.

    Thought and prayers,

  16. Michael,

Glad to see you guys didn’t get too wet yesterday. Hopefully the hike is going well and you guys were able to enjoy the waterfall. One more big day tomorrow make sure to really take some time to reflect on all the fun you had, but more importantly reflect on what God has done in and through you this week.

    Have fun tomorrow!

    Ryan

  17. Hey Michael,
I have been praying the following verses for you this week “be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the full armor of God that you may be able to stand against the devil’s schemes.” Eph 6:10 & 11. Love you and see you soon.

  18. Hello Michael & good afternoon!!

I have been so thankful that you’ve all had great weather for your hike…even the rain. I always imagine the Lord washing away my fears and weakness when it rains, and like to stand in it and feel the raindrops on my hands and face 🙂
Hope you’re feeling rested and renewed for the closure of the week! I’m so proud of all of you for your endurance and strength throughout this amazing opportunity to grow in your faith. Your leaders are a great team of brothers in Christ to have by your side, cheering you on and loving you through all the ups and downs!!
A verse for you on your last full day on the trail:
“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.” Psalms 46:1 NLT

    -Drea

  19. Hi Michael,

We’ve been seeing the videos of the hike, and the scenery looks amazing! Hopefully you are enjoying yourself and your time with the other boys and leaders. You are all doing an amazing job!

Also heard you had some solo time today. Alone time is always good to reflect and really listen to God. This is a great thing to keep doing when you are away from the Ranch as well. Use that private time to talk with God about the good things in your life as well as your challenges.

I hear your final night can be the best night. I pray all of you find it in you to accept Christ if you have not already. Have a great final evening!

Great work this week buddy! God Bless!

    The Porras Family

    Have a good night Michael.
