  1. Hi Jordan,
My name is Sondra and I have been and will continue to be praying for you this week as you head off to camp. It’s super weird that as I’m typing this I’m crying just like I’m already hearing the amazing stuff the Lord will be doing in your life this week, also in the lives of the girls you get to hang out with and in the lives of those who are running the camp! I love a good “how God is working” story and I know there will be some great ones coming out of this week because the Lord is turning on my waterworks already! (I usually do a better job of keeping it together but my kids would tell you I’m a happy crier 🙂 Alright so now that I’ve probably convinced you that you have gotten a crazy prayer partner 😉 let me just say that nothing makes me happier or more emotional than talking about how great The Father’s love for us is. My prayer for you this week is that you come away knowing how much He loves you. That you really let that soak in! The perfect parent knows you completely, every thought in your head, ever fear, every hurt, every mistake and all He wants is for you to get closer to Him and know Him more so He can continue to show you how much He loves you. All He asks of us is to love Him, love ourselves and let that love spill out on to everybody else .
“Jesus replied, “The most important commandment is this: The Lord our God is the one and only Lord . And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’ The second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”
Mark 12:29‭-‬31 NLT (New Living Translation, my favorite Bible right now)
    This week at camp:
“the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
    Zephaniah 3:17 NLT
“See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are!”
    1 John 3:1a NLT
Don’t let the enemy steal your joy this week. He’ll try you know. Because it’s a week about love and he hates that. He despises everything about real love, because real love starts with God.
“When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”
    Ephesians 3:14‭-‬19 NLT
Pack up and get ready! Every day is an adventure with God and this week you get to be on that adventure at the ranch! Have fun! Live loved and love others! Can’t wait to hear some good God stories!

  2. Camp looks challenging. Did you conquer the rock wall? Courage confronts fear.  Doing what needs to be done despite fear. If you wait till you’re not afraid you will never stand. Your courage gives others courage.  (Deuteronomy 20:1-4,8) Don’t fear God is with you. Your fear will cause others to be fearful. Your courage gives courage to those around you. Courage comes by choosing to be courageous. “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NLT. Take courage – choose it- gather it- involve a friend.
“Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love.”1 Corinthians 16:13‭-‬14 NLT
If you ever find it hard to to take the courage God offers you because the devil sneaks in and stirs up your insecurities keep this in mind: “But the crowd laughed at him (Jesus) because they all knew she had died.
Luke 8:53 NLT The crowd doubted Him; Jesus knew what it was like to have people think poorly of Him, to treat Him badly but He knew who He was. We need to remember who we are daughters of God! Rock those challenges this week!

  3. Jordan had been a huge part of our support staff. She has used her experiences to gain insight and share her perspective regarding behaviors. She has really taken this role with seriousness and an open mind. Please pray that Jordan will continue to grow in her faith and that she will see the incredible impact she can have on others.

  4. Hey Jord…I am so glad to hear that everything is going well. We are thinking about you and praying for you! We hope that you will grow and mature from this experience as well as be a blessing to those you are there with as you have so much to offer. We are so proud of you and love you very much and miss you! Mom and Dad

  5. hey jordan It is a pleasure working with you and watching you grow,
PRaying for your strength to continue the next couple days and looking forward to Gods work through you

  6. Praying for you this week as your prayer partner! I hope it has been amazing, and pray that the Lord has been close to you!!!

  7. As you prepare to take your leadership skills gained at the ranch back home, I am praying that you suround yourself with godly influences: Bible, people, music, books, etc.

“Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But you must remain faithful to the things you have been taught. You know they are true, for you know you can trust those who taught you. You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.
    2 Timothy 3:12‭, ‬14‭-‬17 NLT
Praying that you say a prayer each morning before your feet hit the floor to choose to serve Him everyday. It is a choice to transform your mind to put Him first. He has your eternal best in mind! So sorry not too be able to meet you at LifeStream tomorrow. Our youth group has been on a trip this week and I won’t be back tomorrow. I will continue to lift you in prayer as you have stepped out to be a leader/encourager of others in faith. Being honest with others, letting them into your life to disciple each other is Jesus in action. Continue to be His hands and feet 🙂
