  1. Mark, my good buddy.. Man, I am so happy and excited for you for the next 10 days. I specifically pray that the other Teens and the Leaders get to see your amazing heart that I have grown to love over the past 8 months. Keep your eyes and ears open for God – he will bless you my friend.

  5. Hi Mark,
My name is Cherri and I will be praying for you while you are at the ranch these next few days. I’m thankful that God has given you this opportunity to attend the ranch this week. I’m praying that He will work in your life, that you will feel His great love for you, and that you will be encouraged and make new friends this week. I have found in my life that just calling on Jesus name, saying “Jesus, help me” can get me through tough times. It helps us to remember that He is ALWAYS there for us, and He wants us to know the peace that he gives by trusting in Him. I hope you rest well tonight and are ready for a new adventure tomorrow. Blessings, Cherri

  19. Hey man… I hope you are having a great week so far. It looked like over the past few days you got assigned your horse. I did get to see some pics on of you riding them, you look like a natural. I have been praying for you every day, and my prayers today are that you stay healthy and feel great. I am so proud of you for taking this step out of your comfort zone. Keep smiling and enjoy you time. Just remember every time you smile this week it is God showing you he loves you. Have a blast and know you are covered in prayer.

  21. Hey Bro,

I saw you riding a horse, how cool is that?!? I wish I could be there watching you every step of the way.

I am so proud of you Mark! <3

  22. Mark,

I hope you are having fun with your horse. I am proud you got on and rode it! I hope you are having a lot of fun. I think about you constantly through the day and wonder how you are doing. I hope you are feeling well. Mom and I love you very much!!!

  23. Hi Mark!

I am so proud of you for going to camp! It can be tough for anyone to be away from home but it looks like you are having a lot of fun and so many people have posted that they are praying for you! While it looks like there are many exciting times out at camp, I know there can be frustrating times too. Remember not to let your anger control you. You can shrink those thoughts down and replace them with others! There are so many people there to support you and like your mom says, you can always stop and take a moment to pray!

I know that you are learning how to be a mature young adult out at camp and I am excited to see how this will come out when you are back at school this September. You can be a role model for other students!

    Take care,
    Mrs. Mucha

  24. Good Morning Mark,
I wanted to write to you and let you know that, like every morning, you are on my mind. I can see from the pictures that you are having some fun times, but I also know there have been struggles within your group. Although I do not know everything that has happened I can tell some of its been hard…It hard to face challenges and changes, isn’t it?This has been hard for me too – on a different level than what you are facing, but still hard…. I miss not hearing your voice and getting your hugs and not being there for you during your trials. But GOD IS!! God is with me thru this and He is with you too!! He will never leave your side. During trials is exactly when God is helping us to grow! Remember how we’ve talked about calling on the name of Jesus? When you’re struggling, with whatever it is, just repeat the name of Jesus. He will meet you where you are and he knows just what you need! I LOVE YOU!! I pray that today is an AmaZinG day!!
    Love always,

  25. Mark,

Looking forward to seeing you and talking to you this school year! It sounds like you are having all sorts of adventures this summer!

  26. Hey Mark,
I hope you’re having a good time and enjoying getting to know your horse! I have been praying for you and trust that God has been helping you through some of the struggles and challenges that are part of this camp experience. God is very real and he is there for you. I’m praying that you grow in a relationship with Him that will help you this week and in your life beyond the WAR experience! Looking forward to seeing you tonight!

  27. Hi Mark,
I was looking through the pictures posted of you and the others there at RR and saw a cool picture of you on your horse. I know being away from home for a few days can be tough, and that there are lots of challenges there. I’m praying that you will feel God’s presence in your life and know that He is helping you through and to press on to try new things. I hope you have a great time tonight showing your family and friends what you have learned about horsemanship! Thinking and praying of you continually!!

  28. Before I go to bed I wanted to write to you…. I thought about you a lot tonight because I know you were having your horse show tonight. I bet it was fun and I am sure I will see pictures soon! Sleep well tonight – oh and don’t forget to brush and floss before bed 🙂
    I love you,

  31. Hey Mark –

You don’t know me but I wanted to drop a note to just say that I’m praying for you this week. Our good friend Kevin is one of your leaders this week and my big brother Dave is another one of your leaders.

People like me, who love our friend Kevin and my brother Dave know that our God is a God of HUGE things – in fact – things that you might think are impossible. I pray that you see His power and might and feel His unconditional love. I hope and pray that you’ll open your heart to the God of the universe this week. The Savior of the world made you uniquely in His image and loves you just as you are!!

Mark – you’re on an adventure of a lifetime this week and with God on your side, there’s nothing stopping you!!

  32. Hi Mark!
My name is Melinda and I will be praying for you while you are at the ranch. You are so blessed to be able to attend this camp! I’m praying that God will work in your life and the lives of many around you, and that you’ll feel is love and comfort for you. I hope you make alot of new friends and have a fun and safe week (with NO illnesses). That’s awesome that you climbed the wall . . . I’m sure you made it much further than I ever could!!!! : )

Have a fantabulous rest of the week and remember that God is ALWAYS there for you no matter what! I sometimes forget that in the hard times and when I’m struggling but the moment I lose sight of God, He reminds me like a knock on the head that He’s always around for me!!!

    Take care! Blessings . . .
    Melinda Lowder

  33. Hi Mark-

You’ve been on my mind all morning. I really hope you are enjoying this awesome experience.

I was cleaning my room this morning and found the Mixel that you have me about a year ago. It just reminds me how much of a kind heart you have when you think about others and that makes me so proud to be your big sis.

I love you buddy! Can’t wait to see you soon.

  34. Mark,
You’re on the Manistee trail by now. I just know it must be so pretty there! I would love to go back there in the fall to see all the pretty colors, so hopefully you love it so much you’ll be my tour guide! I just wanted you to know I think about you A LOT! And I pray for you and your group tons! Sleep well in your tent tonight! I love you!

  35. Hey Bud, hope you are doing great! You have been on my heart all week. I hope you are having a blast. I have to admit I am a bit jealous of the hike you get to go on over the next few days. I have been on the same trail and it is my favorite. My prayers for you over the next few days are for you to stay healthy, find strength in your body to get through the hike, and for you to see God’s love for you. Stay strong and enjoy the great outdoors . Looking forward to seeing you Sunday. Have a great one.

  36. Good morning Mark!

I woke up this morning and my very first thought was “I wonder how Mark is doing?”

I missed hearing you tell me happy birthday yesterday. That’s the first time EVER. Lol. I showed the pictures to Keegan, Aunt Kelley and Uncle Nick yesterday. Keegan kept saying “I am sooooo jealous….I wish I could do that”. Grandpa and I love to look at all the stuff you are doing. You are so blessed to be able to do Rememberance Ranch!

Grandpa and I pray for you lots of times during the day. We are so happy for you. We love you to the moon and back a zillion times and can’t wait to see your face while you tell us about your adventure. It’s so cool for you to step out of your comfort zone and do amazing things.

Have a wonderful day today and we will be looking for more pictures and stories. Enjoy your hike! We love you. 😍😍

  37. Hi Bro,

It’s Friday- I’m sure this week has flown by for you, but I’ve been missing you fun spunk at home.

You’re in my prayers and I’m looking forward to seeing you this Sunday.

  38. Hey Mark,
Once again, you are on my mind! Two more sleeps until I get to give you a big-ole hug! I have a feeling we will be talking about your experiences for months and I am so looking forward to that!

I looked up at the sky today and it was so full of beautiful white fluffy clouds. It made me smile to think, that even though we are not together right now, we’re both still under the same beautiful sky that God created just for us. Because He loves us and he wants us to show that love to others!

So when you’re struggling with how another person is treating you and you feel wronged – dig deep and show them Gods love. You never know, you might be the only example of God someone else ever sees.

“Dear friends, let us practice loving each other, for love comes from God and those who are loving and kind show that they are the children of God. . . .” 1 John 4:7

Please know that you’re not alone in the struggle…. we all have our moments…. you are an awesome teenager and God has great big plans for you!

I’ll pray your tent stays dry tonight!
    Sleep well, I love you!

  39. Mark,

Your adventure is almost over… I hope you are doing well and staying dry out on the trail. I hope you are enjoying the hike. Mom and I would like to hike it sometime as well. I can’t wait to hear about it. I hope you are sleeping well. We will see you very soon! Mom and I love you very much and can’t wait to see you again!

  40. Good Morning!
I am praying for clear skies and happy trails for you, today! I am so excited to see you tomorrow, but today is your day, take it all in…. you are surrounded by God beauty!
    Love you,

  41. Hi Mark,
I hope that it has been such an awesome week for you at RR and that you have grown in many ways through this experience. I pray that God will continue to work in your life and that you will always remember, especially during hard times, that He loves you with an everlasting love and that He is ALWAYS there for YOU! May He bless you and keep you and may His face shine upon you!!
