  1. Hey Antonio,
Wow! What an exciting adventure you are about to begin. We are praying that your week at the ranch is full of hope, growth and peace. God has an unbelievable plan for you and we hope that your heart and mind are open to whatever it is He has in store. One of our favorite verses…Psalms 41:10 Be still and know that I am God.
Can’t wait to follow and pray about this experience with you!

  2. Tonio I am so proud of you for taking this step and going to camp. To go to a strange place where you don’t know any of the other boys or leaders takes a lot of courage. Dad and I love you so much. We are praying for you and can’t wait to hear all about your week.

I am sure you’re finishing up your first day of The Ranch! I hope you have settled in. Hopefully you sleep well tonight and tomorrow you wake up ready to tackle the day. I pray this week tests you and pushes you out of your comfort zone and you learn new things about yourself and also about Jesus. I pray you are safe and don’t get too many mosquito bites!! Have an amazing week Antonio!

  5. Antonio socialized really well with the group today…he spent time getting to know everyone.

Joshua 1:9 – “Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

    Have a great day,

  9. Hi Antonio. I’m Spencer’s mom. I just wanted to let you know that I said a few extra prayers for you tonight. My favorite bible verse is Phil 4:13. It says that YOU can do ALL things through Christ who gives you strength! Enjoy your week and know that God made just one you. And YOU are special and loved and made to SHINE! You got this buddy.

  10. Antonio enjoyed the horses today. He continues to socialize with others, but needs prayers that he will open up and look inside to begin working on himself, his behaviors, and his thoughts.

  11. “Two-O”,

Loved seeing the picture of you on the horse. How cool!! Hope you’re having a great time so far. I know this was a big step for you to get away. We pray that you’ll continue to take some big steps and have the courage to try some new things and to experience God’s love for you!!

    Love you,

  12. Hey Antonio!
Looks like you Guys are having a good time with the horses! I’ve been praying for you to find comfort among the group and that you allow yourself to open up and allow God to work this week. Listen to the people around you, listen to the sounds of the camp and nature, and listen to your heart. Be strong and brave!!

  13. Day 3 of camp is almost done. I hope you are having an amazing time. I loved your smile as you rode horses. We pray for you continually. Be brave and try new things. Sometimes the things that seem the scariest turn out to be the best. Remember that you are loved by the King of Kings and He wants you to be part of His family.
    Love you for always, Mom

  14. Antonio,

Hope you had an awesome day yesterday. We miss you, but we’re so excited you get this opportunity to be at camp. Enjoy every moment and have the courage to try new things. You’ve got some great people at camp, so don’t be afraid to seek their help and talk with them.

Are you enjoying taking care of your horse and riding it? Looking forward to hearing all about it.

I read these verses this morning and wanted to share them with you: Isaiah 40:30-31 – “Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”

Praying you have an awesome day!!

    Love you,

  15. Wow, what an awesome day you had yesterday! Ziplining, horses, tubing, tomahawk throwing! Just remember you DO have to come home on Sunday😉 I am so thankful the leaders are sharing their stories. You aren’t the only one with a hard past to overcome. Listen and learn from them. God has placed you there for a purpose. Open up and trust, you have so many people who care about you, love you and are praying for you.

Have a great day! Love you to the moon and back!

  16. Looks like you had the opportunity to do some really fun things yesterday!! Saw a picture of you tubing. Was the water cold? Also saw some video of the horse in the ring. It was cool to see how the horse would follow the boys around the ring. What a great lesson on building trust.

Hope you have a great day!! Miss you and look forward to seeing you on Sunday.

  17. Hi Antonio! It sounds like you’re having a great time and enjoying new experiences! I’m praying that you take advantage of this opportunity to grow and challenge yourself. I know God has great things planned for you if you open yourself up to him and the people he has placed in your life. Have a great day!

  18. Hey, “Two-O”. I saw some video of you on a trail ride. How cool. What’s your horses name? Hope you’re having a great day. See you in a few days.

    Love you,

  19. Wow Antonio! Looks like so much fun. We hope and pray you are doing great and enjoying this special time in your life.

  20. Hi Antonio,
What an amazing adventure you’ve been on this week. Don and I are praying that you are enjoying your time there. Sure sounds like these days were meant for you! Can’t wait to hear all about it!

    Love ya man,
    Don and Jan

  21. Hey Antonio!
How did you guys get stuck in the river? Was Pat paddling? Haha!!

Looks like you are having an amazing time. I’m sure today was a hard day hiking in the trail. I’ve done it before with The Ranch and understand how hot and tiring it is. Remember to ask for help, lean on your fellow campers and the staff, and talk to God and ask for strength when you need it. I hope you are learning a lot about yourself and the kind of young man you want to be. Proud of you!!

  22. Hey Bud! How was your first day of hiking? I saw some pictures of you as you started. Hopefully you didn’t get stuck in the rain. Was your pack heavy? You’re so used to throwing hay that it was probably a piece of cake for you.

Dad is on the bike trip now too so it is just Niya, the babies and I.

Don’t be afraid to ask the others for help when you need it. That’s what they are there for. Praying you build some great friendships and begin to open up and trust others. You are an amazing young man, don’t be afraid to show it.

    Love you,

  23. Hi Anotinio!
I hope you are well and having fun! Looks like you all went swimming in the river? Did you do any fishing? I pray you have learned amazing things about yourself that you can take back to your family and friends and that you have tried something new this week. Be strong and be BLESSED!!

  24. Antonio,
Sounds like you had an amazing hike today. I love the pics and seeing your smiling face. You have experienced so much this week, I can’t wait to hear all but it. I’m praying that the things you’ve heard and learned will be part of you forever.

I can’t wait to see you tomorrow.
    Love, Mom

  25. Hi Antonio,
I am so excited that you are attending camp! I am praying that you will enjoy your time and that our gracious and loving God will work His miracles on your heart . May your days be filled with peace, patience and happiness.
    Have an amazing week!!

  26. Antonio,

I am so excited that you got the opportunity for a second week at Remembrance Ranch. How cool is that – and then to find out that Jesse is going to be there all week!!

My main prayer this week is that you grow in your walk with Jesus. But I am also praying that you will learn to trust those around you and be willing to try new things and let yourself be stretched.

I also hope you will be able to show everyone how much growth you’ve had over the summer. I missed hanging out with you last night at Unity. KB was awesome!! Had everyone jumping and going crazy. I hope they have him back so you can see him some time.

How was the climbing wall? Did you give it a try?

Hope you get a cool horse and you enjoy riding and taking care of it. Say “Hey” to Jesse for me.

    Love you,

  27. Tonio!

I am So excited about this week together my friend! Not only do we get to share this week full of adventure together, we get to do it as brothers in Christ!

  28. Antonio,
My name is Carisa Woodwyk and I will be praying for you all week. How cool that you get to experience this camp AGAIN!
I pray that God grows you, molds you and shows you His unconditional love this week! God created you for great things and I pray that you believe in that!
    Have a great week!

  29. Antonio had a great day yesterday but struggled to get to bed last night. He woke up this morning and had a tough time at worship service. Please pray that he can adjust to the expectations here at camp.

  30. Hi Antonio,
It’s a beautiful day today! I pray that you will feel all of the love He is poring out on you today…and everyday. We are so thankful!

I pray you will share God’s love and peace to those around you.

  31. Tonio,

How was your first day with your horse? What’s your horses name?

Saw a couple pics of your crew climbing over the wall and a couple guys pulling you over. That’s a great team builder. Reminds us that we can’t always do stuff on our own and that we need others help.

Hope you’re having a great time making new friends and connecting with God. Can’t wait to hear about your adventures.

So glad you decided to go back to camp. Love you.

  32. Hey 2-0! Hope you had an awesome day. I loved seeing the pics of you at the wall. Way to be brave and try new things.

I am excited that you have this opportunity to go to the ranch again. How cool is that?! I keep thinking that God must have some cool things planned because this week was totally put together by Him. And the fact that Jesse is there again is another yah God☺

Did you get the same horse as last time? If so did she remember you? Hope you have a great day tomorrow. Be brave, try new things, let the guys see the cool kid that you are, trust them, and trust that God has you there because he loves you and wants the very best for you.

    I love you.

  33. Hey Antonio. It was great to see you tonight. I pray that you continue to break down barriers and grow in your relationship with Christ. I also pray that you trust your leaders and know that they truly believe in you. What a great opportunity to be able to participate in both camps this summer.
I will be praying for you all week!

  34. Hi Antonio,
It’s another amazing day at camp! How thankful I am that God has created this opportunity for you! I pray you are making the most of every moment…to learn from others, to think about your choices and to find the peace of Christ.

“Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also in me.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14:1

    Peace be with you, Antonio.

  35. Hey Tonio! Thrilled that you’re back at Camp – make the most of it, buddy! What ever you experience this week, remember if something becomes difficult for you – don’t park in your pain! Move through it, with God’s help you can move to the other side and become better because of it. YOU CAN DO THIS! OWN IT!
Lifting you up in prayer today, Pam

  36. Hey, Grandson!
Grandma and I were excited to hear you got another week at camp! Have fun. Remember we love you and God does too. We will be excited to hear all about it.

  37. 2-0,

Hey buddy, how’s camp going? Did you get the same horse this week or do you have a new one? What’s your horses name?

Saw pictures of your archery battle. Did you hit anyone with arrows you shot? Did you get hit? Does it hurt?

Praying you had a great day and that you’re allowing yourself to be stretched and that you’re trying new things. Keep trusting your leaders and keep learning about God’s incredible love for you.

Miss having you around home, but I know God’s got you right where He wants you. Keep being a good friend to others and take the opportunity to encourage them.

    Love you,

  38. Tonio,

Sounds like you had a busy and fun day at camp. What an incredible opportunity to try so many new things. Don’t be afraid to try new things. Some of the most exciting and fun things are often the most challenging. Remember, you have a Savior that cares about every detail of your life, ask Him for courage in those times you want to try something new but you might feel afraid.

I’m praying that you will experience genuine joy and peace this week.

    Love you for always,

  39. Hello Antonio! Every day I’m eager to read about what you’ve been up to at the camp. What a cool opportunity for you to meet and spend time with ‘The Guys.’ It puts a new twist on a ‘Man Cave’ out in God’s territory. Isn’t it awesome when you look at creation and see what He created for US to enjoy??? God loves you so much, Antonio. I pray that your heart will truly soak this up and you will know and seek God’s presence around you all week long. Remember, attitude is everything so pick a good one! Sometimes things can be intense at the moment so learn to recognize it and turn it around before it gets the best of you. Romans 12:17 -18 says “Never pay back evil for evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honest clear through. Don’t quarrel with anyone. Be at peace with everyone, just as much as possible.” Now that is some good advice! (Seriously, sometimes I blow right past that and get myself in a tizzy…and it’s a miserable way to live. Just sayin’!) I’m praying for you today, Antonio. Give it all you’ve got! ; )

  40. Antonio,

Been thinking and praying for you throughout the week. Hope you’re having an awesome time. The pictures look like you’re having some great weather and getting to try some awesome activities.

Was reading in my devotions this morning and a couple verses really hit me. 1 Thessalonians 2:8 – “We loved you so much that we shared with you not only God’s Good News but our own lives, too.” That’s how your mom and I feel, and I am sure your camp leaders as well. They’re not only sharing with you God’s Good News – but they’re also sharing their lives with you this week. Keep an open heart and mind to what they’re telling you. Learn from them as they share with you.

A few verses later in 1 Thessalonians 2:12 it says, “We pleaded with you, encouraged you, and urged you to live your life in a way that God would consider worthy. For he called you to share in his kingdom and glory.” And that’s true of you. God called you to share in his kingdom – and now your challenge is to live your life in a way that would honor him.

Keep growing and trying new things this week. Can’t wait to see you on Sunday and to hear about your week.

  41. Hi there Antonio,
I hope and pray you are having a good day. Each of the staff are doing God’s great work. They love you and want to help you toward a better life – one that is filled with peace and joy.

I pray you are able to give your burdens over to God. Trust those around you who come in Love and trust that God’s plan for your life is even greater than you can imagine!

  42. Hey Tonio,

I’ve been thinking about you and praying for you.

Enjoy every part of this week. Climbing, Kayaking, Hiking, Riding, Target practice, Enjoying getting to know the other guys and your counselor.

But most of all, enjoy how much God loves you and I do too!

  43. Hello Antonio – what a gorgeous morning it is! I’m praying that Patrick’s message will have a huge impact on your life. Because when the going gets tough…”Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9.
Patrick’s message proved that to be true. He LIVED it and will continue living it.
Courage is fear that has said it’s prayers and decided to move forward anyway. So I’m encouraging you, Antonio. Give it to God. He WILL direct your steps.
I can say for myself, ‘I may not be where I need to be, but thank GOD I’m not where I used to be!’ We’re all a work in progress and God loves us right here, right now, just as we are….just as YOU ARE, Antonio. It’s that simple and profound all at the same time.
Go and be AWESOME today! I’m praying for you. ; )

  44. Good Morning bud! Hope you had an awesome night of sleep and are ready for another action packed day.

Guess what Duke did yesterday? He ate 30 chocolate no bake cookies. We thought for sure he would be sick last night but he is fine. I guess he likes my cookies too. Jose was so mad at him because he didnt get any cookies☺

We miss you but are so thankful you get this time at the Ranch. As you listen to the guys stories i am praying that you will see how, with Gods help, you can overcome any obstacle. You dont have to let your fear, anger, and shame control you. God wants more for you. He created you to be filled with His joy and His peace. You are His child now. You have been adopted twice, once by dad and i and now by your heavenly Father, how cool is that?!

I love you. Have an awesome day. Mom

  45. Antonio,

Hope you’re enjoying your week. I saw some pictures of you tubing down the river and also saw a little video this morning of you driving some horses. Looked really cool.

I am praying that the truths you read in God’s Word and the lessons you hear from the leaders will continue to sink in and continue transforming your life. Enjoy your last day at Cran Hill.

We’ll be praying for your hike as you guys head out tomorrow – I know that was the part you were really looking forward to.

Love you and can’t wait to hear about your week.

  46. I am praying for you, Antonio. Praying that you let God into your heart and praying that you would treat others as He would treat you. I pray that you would treat others with respect and love. It is amazing how others respond to us when we offer our love and understanding.

How do you respond when someone asks you to behave differently? Do you resist with anger or do you try? All we ask is that you try and trust. When you behave lovingly all the anger goes away. That’s what God wants for you – a life of peace and love. But it is your choice. Ehat do you choose for your life?

We are all praying for you Antonio. Choose love!

    Peace of Christ,

  47. Tonio,

How you doing, bud? Saw a picture of you throwing a hatchet. Did you stick the target? Also saw some videos of some of the crew doing the zip line. Did you try it this week?

Praying you’ll habe a great hike over the next few days. Be an encourager to others since this is something you enjoy. Some of the guys may not enjoy the hiking as much as you do, so it’s always helpful when others are encouraging and cheering them on.

Can’t wait to see you in a few days. Enjoy the last few days of camp and learn all you can from your leaders.

    Love you. Dad

  48. Hi Antonio,
This is a new day! I hope and pray that you are learning many new things about yourself and about the others around you. Remember to choose God’s way especially when things get tough. He is right by your side always!

Have a great hike Antonio! Give thanks to Our Creator for all the beauty around you.

    Peace and blessings,

  49. Antonio,
It looks like you are having a great time at camp and enjoying so many cool things! I praying that God is growing you this week to become strong in your walk with Him! He will be the only constant love in your life~in the darkest of days and in your greatest moments God will always be by your side!
    Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
    ~Carisa Woodwyk

  50. Hello to you, Antonio! So you’ll be in the wilderness hiking. I pray that you will see some fantastic wildlife as well as nature at it’s finest. God’s creation is an awesome thing and we need to treat it with respect. It may be tough going for the team so I’ll leave you with this; Did you know it is so much harder to live with anger than it is to live with God’s peace, love and joy? And we have to take responsibility for our behavior. One of the best things we can do is learn how to pray for the people who have wronged us. Ask God to help you take control of your feelings. There are many trials in life, but God has an AMAZING plan for YOU, Antonio. As you put your focus on Him, it becomes easier to conquer angry feelings and walk in peace. Praying for you today!

  51. 2-0,

Saw a little video of you guys heading out on the trail – looked like you were trying to hide behind one of the leaders but I saw you!!

Did you get rained on a lot? It has been raining off and on throughout the day here, but not for a real long time. Hope you’re enjoying the hike.

We are continuing to pray for you that you will open up and trust those around you. But even more that you will grow in your trust for God.

Can’t wait to see you on Sunday and to hear about your week.

    Love you, Dad.

  52. I will continue to pray for you, Antonio. You have a bright future ahead of you. It’s all about choices. Each of us has the ability to chose our attitude. Lift your concerns to the Lord, ask Him to guide you and always know His love for you no matter what!

  53. Blessings Antonio,
I hope you have a great hike! This is such an amazing opportunity for you to spend time in God’s creation.

God is with you every step of your life. If you feel angry, ask God to lift your burden. If you feel frustrated, ask God lift your burden. Our gracious God wants us to have a life that is filled with His peace and love.

The birds sing with joy and the oak tree stands strong. May your trail today be filled with both joy and strength.

  54. Hey Antonio!! Just wanted to send a quick note as you guys spend these next few days out on the trail.
I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be at Cran Hill with my family while you were there. I also want you to know how proud Jesse and I are of how far you’ve come so far, and reassure you that God has great things planned for your life. Remember that when we put our trust in Him, we open ourselves up to endless possibilities and positivity through His love.

  55. Tonio,

By the time you read this you will be done with your second day of hiking. I know you were most excited to do this again. Isn’t it awesome how God changed the weather for you? He cares about our EVERY need.

I am praying that as you wrap up your week you will truly see all the blessings God has given you. It is easy to dwell on the negative, but all that does is steal our joy. While you are hiking look up and see all that God has given you. I know you love His creation. He has given it for you to enjoy because he loves you. That’s just the beginning of all that He has blessed you with. When you start to feel or say something negative, stop look around and replace it with something you are thankful for.

I love you and can’t wait to see you on Sunday.

  56. Hey Antonio,

So it’s your last full day hiking. I’ve missed having you around at home, but know that God has you exactly where He wants you.

I pray you enjoy God’s amazing creation as you hike along the river. Hiking is one of those things that is so much more fun to do with a group of people. Kind of like in life – we need others around us. They help us when we’re weak or when we need some encouragement. It’s also awesome to know that God is always with us – every step on life’s journey.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6.

Can’t wait to see you tomorrow.

    Love, Dad

  57. Hi Antonio,

Another day on the great trail! I imagine that you are making wonderful friendships and having a life-changing experience. You’ve been called into a new life…

“I beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” – Ephesians 4:1-3

May the peace of Christ be with you.
