  1. Hey Cayden,

My name is Joel and I’ll be one of your prayer partners for this week. It might seem weird to have someone that you don’t even know pray for you but I think it’s pretty cool. I’ll be reading about your adventures this week and praying for your safety and for an amazing experience for you.

I hope you are super-excited to head off on this adventure. I bet you might be a little nervous too. I’ll try to send you a short note each day to remind you that I’m praying for you.

    Have a great time!

  2. Hey Cayden!

It’s your cousin Melissa. I just want you to know we are praying for you. We hope you have an amazing adventure!!

    Love Melissa

  3. Hey Caden!!!! I’m Mr. Jesse’s wife, Drea, and I was so excited to meet you today at the send off! It was a busy morning for everyone, so hopefully some of you were able to catch a quick snooze on the way to Cran Hill. I know I’m ready for one 😊
This week is going to be one to remember, and I pray that each day, you might feel God tugging at your heart, or at work in your life through one of the leaders, or the other guys, and maybe even through something as simple as a new experience. I pray that you feel stronger everyday, and that you know how much you are loved.

  4. Hey Cayden!
My name is Kellie and I met you today at the camp send off! First, let me say how proud I am of you for making the commitment to the camp and keeping your word to your dad! You are an incredible young man and I enjoyed talking with you today, even though you may not remember. I will be praying for you every day! God has so many exciting things in store for you, and he will be with you every step of the way!

  5. I am so proud of you for making the right choice and going to camp. Cant wait to hear about all of your adventures. Keep an open mind to God and everything else you may encounter. Love you.

    1. Erin, I have really enjoyed getting to know your little man. It has been incredibly amazing to watch in even just these first few short days a transformation in him. He is now engaging with everyone else including all of us leaders with enthusiasm, energy and positivity. When I have spent some time to speak to him about these changes since arrival he truly gleams. Cayden has so much leadership potential! Recognizing his anger/frustration triggers will continue to be crucial in allowing him processing time to use the skills he really does even at his young age possess at least to some degree to successfully manage many situations . Pray for patients and the needed impulse control in these moments to continue to grow in this area.

  6. Hey Cayden

It was fun to read about your first day. It sounds like you did lots of cool things. How did you like the rock wall? I always find that those are a little scary and fun at the same time.

I was happy to read that all of the boys are bonding together. Some of these guys that you’ve just met might be your friends for the rest of your life!

I hope this week you also learn more about God and how he can be your friend for life too! He loves you even if you don’t realize it and he has a wonderful life planned for you.

I’ll keep praying for you this week. Make it a great one!

  7. Cayden,
Sounds like your first day was a lot of fun! So proud of all of you! I have been praying for you and will continue to. My prayer is that you will put your trust in God to be your help in times of stress, fear and even anger. Talk to him! Cry out to him! He is your father in Heaven and he wants you to talk to Him daily and trust in him! He created you and knows every hair on your head! He made you and he doesn’t make mistakes! Have a great week!

    Hugs~Your prayer partner,

  8. Cayden,

This is Julie, one of your prayer partners. Praying that you are having a great time at Cran Hill, enjoying the climbing wall, and the horses, and the many activities — and especially the people around you. Prayers for a great week!

  9. Cayden!

Hope you are having a great time. I am sure you are making friends, and enjoying time away from your brothers, and sister! I loved going to camp when I was younger, and had a great time too. So proud of you for taking this HUGE step. I love you, and look forward to all the stories you will have to tell.

  11. Cayden,
Hi…my name is Kerry. I am your aunt Kara’s mom. I hope you make a lot of good memories at camp. So many people are working so hard for all of you boys to have a good time. It is a nice break to get away and spend time in nature. The world God made for us is so pretty and so peaceful. I will be sure to talk to God tonight…and thank him for all he has done for you and me also.

  12. Cayden,

  13. Hey Cayden,

Hope you are having a good day today. It’s raining here and I’m hoping you have some fun indoor activities today or that the rain will be short and you can take full advantage of your day.

I hope you were excited to get your Bible yesterday. It’s quite an awesome gift that we can read about Jesus and his example of loving everyone always.

    Have a great day.

  14. Hey Cayden!
Looks like you’re having a great time at camp! I loved seeing you smiling in the picture! How are you liking having a horse to take care of? And that archery fame sounded like a blast! My prayer is that you continue to feel God’s presence all around you this week, and you learn to talk to him when you need help!
    Your prayer partner,

  15. Cayden – I left a message yesterday but, you know grandma I did it in the wrong place. I found the correct place tonight. Thinking and praying that this will be blessed experience. Enjoy the horses. Your mom used to love to ride. Keep us up todate.

    Grandma Jan

  16. Cayden –

I bet you are learning a ton about horses and that you are enjoying the different things you get to learn. Horses can be a lot of work but they are amazing animals.

Archery tag looks super fun. I’ve never tried it but I think I would have a blast.

I keep praying for you every day. I’m praying for Patrick and Jesse and the other leaders and other boys too! Keep yourself open to everything you can learn this week.

  17. Hey Cayden!

Looks like you had a very busy day. Saw you at archer site and ridding the horse. Didn’t see you do the zip line but I’m sure it was fun. Praying for you and the other boys that this will be a fantastic experience and for all the leaders.

  19. Things started out a little rough for Cayden, but once we arrived at the Ranch, he really opened up. Cayden has connected well with everyone and has been taking a leadership role during activities. He was recognized today as taking a leadership role above others!

  20. Wow Cayden! I am so proud of you!!! Way to go bring a leader! I knew you could do it! I will continue to pray for you!
    Your prayer buddy!

  21. Cayden – awesome to hear that you were recognized as a leader yesterday. I’m sure it felt good to be acknowledged in front of the others. Remember that feeling and keep being a leader – even when it gets hard. Hope you are having an awesome time getting to know your horse and that you are not too nervous about the hike coming up. I’ll be praying for your safety and that God blesses your time and your relationships with the other boys and with the leaders. Make the most of it!

  22. Cayden –
I woke up this morning to the sound of thunder and thought about you and all of the other boys and leaders getting ready to hit the trail today. I’m praying that the weather is good for you the next few days and that God keeps you safe. This is going to be a tough experience but an amazing one at the same time. Enjoy your last few days and try to listen to what God might be trying to say to you.
