  1. Hi Nolan! I am so excited that you will have this opportunity at camp. I know that your life will be changed and God will do amazing things while you’re at camp! There might be scary parts, but you will learn a lot about yourself too. I pray that you will grow and have a wonderful time! I can’t wait to see pictures and read about your adventures.

  2. Hi Nolan, I’m Sondra and I have the privilege of praying for you this week. It’s exciting to see what God will lay on my heart to pray for you when we don’t even know each other but He made you and knows everything about you so He will guide my thoughts and prayers😃 Camp is an adventure, you are stepping out of your comfort zone and you will be facing unknown challenges. From the start, God wants you to know that He loves you, He is faithful, learn to trust in Him. Lamentations 3:22-23, 25 The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies are new each morning. The Lord is good to those who depend on him. To those who search for him.
I pray that each day at camp you will wake up knowing that God has a special plan for you, to draw you closer to Himself. Let the adventure begin!

  3. Hi Nolan! I’m praying for you as you prepare to head to camp tomorrow. I’m praying that you will have amazing experiences there being in God’s beautiful creation, working with horses, and getting to know the other boys and the leaders. I know that God is going to teach you so much and that he will give you strength for each day and each experience that you have, even when things are hard. Phillippians 4:13 says “I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength.” He will be with you!

  4. Hey Buddy we just dropped you off and your on your way to your adventure. We pray that God is going to do big things! We pray that He will speak to you. We love you to the moon and back!

    Love all of us ❤️😁

  5. Good morning buddy,

Hopefully you slept well are are ready for whatever God has planned for you today.

Romans 15:13 says May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let God fill you up so you can spread His love where ever you go. And know that you can trust Him to always be there no matter what.

Praying today is just one step in that journey. I can’t wait to hear all about it!

    Love you!
    Mom and Dad

    1. Thank you everyone. It is going good and I have been having so much fun . Today we got to ride horses and go swimming. I had fun dunking Mr. Ron under the water. ( I may have had some help 😛.. I am making friends . Thank you and I love you all .

  6. Good morning!
I pray you are well rested, fueled up and ready for the adventure the day holds for you. Be a difference maker today! As you learn to trust in Him because He cares for you, remember that He is always looking for the one person who will stand for Him. Ezekiel 23:30 I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.
Trust in the Lord, rely on His love and strength and be the one willing to say “yes” to what He asks of you!

  7. Good morning Nolan! Wow, it sounds like day 1 at camp was amazing! I hope you felt that way too. I would guess it was a little overwhelming meeting all the other boys and leaders and being at camp. I am praying that God gives you strength and health this week and that He works in your heart and mind so that you can learn more about Him and more about yourself. I also pray that you just have so much fun!!

    Colossians 1:9-10 (NIV)
9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,[a] 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

  8. Hi Nolan,

Been praying for you, for your adventure. I know God is there with you every step.
    Love you,
    A. Michelle

    1. Today I rode horses and got to shoot a bow and arrow at the leaders (fun game) and went swimming and wrestled with people in the water. At night time we went and ate an ice cream and it was really good. One of the leaders scared everyone as a joke and we all jumped. It almost scared the poop out of me. Love you good night !

      1. That is awesome!! It’s very cool to see what all you have been doing and learning. Looks like you are really good with horses!! 🙂

  9. Hi Nolan this is Aunt Diane l am will be praying for you this week . Hope you have a wonderful time at camp and enjoy God’s creation!

  10. Nolan, thank you for sharing about your day. It sounds so fun! I pray that you will continue to challenge yourself to try new and fun things this week and that you will continue to work on your friendships with the group members as well. It’s amazing how much you can bond with people you’ve never met when you spend so much time together having fun adventures! 😃

  11. Hey Nolan

Sounds like it’s been quite a grand adventure so far! I’m sure you loved shooting the arrows! Hope you are enjoying the horses. I love reading the updates. Praying for you today.

    Love and miss you 😘

  12. Hey Nolan, from the photos, camp looks exciting and challenging. Many of the activities you are participating in involve quiet a bit of trust. Trust that: the rope will hold, the horse will obey, the food will be edible 😉 Remember ultimately you are trusting in the Lord who controls the rope, the horse and the food. Take every opportunity to learn to place your trust in the one who loves you and knows His plans for you!
For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord . “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.
    Jeremiah 29:11‭-‬13 NLT
The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord , endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.
    Psalms 138:8
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock. Lord , you will grant us peace; all we have accomplished is really from you.
    Isaiah 26:3‭-‬4‭, ‬12 NLT
    Keep up the hard work!

  13. Camp looks super fun! Glad to hear you are enjoying the people and the activities. It looks like a great opportunity to use your gifts and talents and discover new ones.
A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. This makes for harmony among the members, so that all the members care for each other.
    1 Corinthians 12:7‭, ‬25 NLT
Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
    Philippians 2:2‭-‬4 NLT
Praying you develop some lasting friendships with people you can truly be yourself with 🙂

  14. Hey Bud,

Looks like you have been having an awesome day Nol! I loved watching you do the zip line you are brave!!

We love you lots and miss you but it’s so awesome to see the things you are doing and we can’t wait to hear about what you are learning!

My prayer is that you see the amazing love God has for you and how you are created in His image. Know that He is always walking with you no matter where or what you are doing.

    Love you lots! 😍😘❤️

  15. Melissa, I have enjoyed getting to know your young man. In this short time together I am seeing him grow in his confidence with others, risk-taking and his leadership assertiveness. Many times I have witnessed him “doing the right thing” when another choice could have been made. He has shown himself to be intentionally conscientious. Pray that he will continue to exhibit leadership to not only guide others but grow in new ways himself.

  16. Nolan, wow did you have an amazing day yesterday! I loved reading about and seeing the pictures and videos of what you did with the horses, rafting down the river, and especially the zip line! I’m so impressed that you faced your fears and did that!

As you prepare to head out on the backpacking part of your week, I am praying that you seek God each step of the way. There will be challenges, but I pray that God will use those to help you grow, gain confidence, learn good communication skills, and just learn more about Him and His amazing love for you. You are His child and He loves you so much. With His help, you can conquer anything!

I Peter 5:7–Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

  17. Good loves you! He is always with you! You can trust Him! Do not fear God stands up for you.
The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.
    Psalms 28:7 NLT
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
    2 Corinthians 12:9‭-‬10 NLT
Lean into God’s love for you and let Him take care of you as you treat others the way you would like to be treated. You are working so hard! Keep pushing yourself to do your best 🙂

  18. Hey Nol

I loved seeing everyone work through the spider web, hope you all made it through! Everyone says to say hi and we all miss you!

I am super excited to hear that you have been stepping up and leading. Know that as the next step of your journey starts tomorrow when you head out on your hike, we are praying for you!

Praying God would meet you in that place, that you would feel His strength when you are weak and that you would understand the mercy and grace He has for you. I truly believe God has created you to be His mighty warrior!

No matter life takes whatever journey you may be on don’t ever take your eyes off Him. He will guide you every step of the way.

These verses have always been great reminders to me…

    Psalm 37:23 & 24
23 The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; 24 though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.

    Psalm 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

You are an amazing son and I am blessed to be your mom. Thank you for always bringing me joy!

Love you to the moon and back,
    Mom ❤️

  20. Nolan, I am praying for you today as you begin the wilderness hiking part of this journey. May God lead you every step of the way and keep you safe! I can’t wait to see pictures of your experiences!

  21. Today you journey into the wilderness, how exciting! I pray that you will really look/listen/feel the beauty of the world the Lord has placed you in. He has laid out wonders for you so that you can see His love for you in the beauty of His creation.
The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship.
    Psalms 19:1 NLT
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!
    Psalms 139:13‭-‬18 NLT
God is far greater than we can even imagine and He is always thinking of you 🙂
