  1. Mary Jane I pray that you will enjoy your time at camp. Please know that there are friends who want you to enjoy with all your being. God bless.

  2. Hi, Mary. My name is Gwen. I am one of your prayer partners. I hope you are having a great experience at camp. I know you are surrounded by really good people. Praying you enjoy the experience – all of it – the location/scenery, the people, the food, the animals, the outdoors, etc. God has a plan for you this week. Try to find peace in Him.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures of the week.

    Have fun,

  3. Mary,
I’ve been praying for you and today’s verse I’m praying for you is…. James 4:17 “If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.” Remember the good thing you know and do them! Sometimes it’s soooo hard yet I know you have God himself dwelling in you and he’ll help, Just call on him! I love you and miss you!
    Love, Mom 🙂

    1. Ok mom ill remember that and try to memorize that verse. I love you so much and I miss you too!😊

  4. MJ! I was over the moon thrilled when I watched the live video yesterday, and you were doing such a great job helping Marissa with saddling your horse! Awesome leadership skills girl!! Can’t wait to join you all in a couple of days!! Keep up the great work.. I pray that you continue to lead others the way Jesus does, and to do it with a humble heart. <3 Mary Beth

  5. Mary has been a leader at horsemanship. She had displayed considerable care and respect for all the animals. She is developing friendships while she is here. Please pray that she will continue to gain insight in her decision making process and begin to weigh pros and cons of her action and inactions.

  6. Hi Mary,
I heard you’re having a good time at camp and are stepping up to help others during your horsemanship time! I’m glad you had the opportunity to be part of this and hope you will make the most of it. I’m praying for you, the other girls, and the staff and know God will use these experiences in powerful ways in your lives. I hope you enjoy your remaining time at camp and have a good time on the trail!

You are a go getter and a problem solver!!! You are willing to step out of your comfort zone and onto a paddle board!! That was great! Your horse bo has taught you a lot . He is a lot to handle and you have earned his trust and respect.
We continue to watch you grow and learn your heart and Gods will.

  12. Love reading all the great posts about you Mary! Sounds like you are having a great time with the horses and the hiking and the other girls. Keep growing your leadership skills – more importantly, keep relying on God. Ask Him daily to Lead, Guide and Direct you in the ways/places He wants you to go. He’ll never let you down! I’ll continue to pray for you – even after you’ve settled back in at home, during the summer, when school starts, at Christmas, all throughout the year. You are special, Mary. Don’t let anyone tell you any differently! Only a few more days and you’ll be back to civilization! Haha ~ :0)
Enjoy these last few days with your new friends and staff.
    Be a Blessing Today,
    ~ Gwen

    1. Thank you Gwen for praying for me and encouraging me to keep going. You will never know the difference that you’ve made. I am glad that God sent you into my life.

  13. Good Morning, Mary!
Well…you are packing up and maybe on the road back toward Allendale right about now. As I begin to do my own devotions this morning, I can’t help but think about your week…about how God put those people (everyone you encountered this week) into place many months ago – before they knew who would be on this journey with them. He also put your girls on His ‘list’ of campers. He knew He wanted you all there – for a reason. He has a reason for us – a plan for our lives. Take time each day to listen to what His plan is. He will reveal it if we are faithful to Him. I hope you will continue this ‘journey’ with Him after you get home. He still wants you to be near!
Have a great day today! You will always remember this week – and the fun times (and maybe some ‘not so fun’ times! 🙂 ). Be nice. Do good things for your family and others and remember … God loves you and so do lots of other people too! Happy Sunday!
