  4. Hi Kasen,

Looks like you had a great first day – That wall you climbed looks very tall – were you scared at all?! Nice work on getting through it with your bunk mates. That’s also cool that you learned how to start a fire with flint and steel – that’s something I wish I knew how to do.

I want you to know I’m praying for you to have a great second day, and also to help with any homesick you may be feeling.

Keep up the good work Kasen.

I’m having so much fun looking through your pictures! You are pretty brave! I don’t know if I could do some of those things. I’m so happy that you are enjoying your time and making some pretty awesome relationships with people there. Connection with others is so important. Thank you for your prayers for my son, too. I appreciate it. I’ve been keeping you in my thoughts all day today! Praying that you are able to receive God’s grace and love and spread that love to others as well. 🙂 No one is ever going to be perfect – our life is a journey and every day we try to better ourselves. I am always trying to make myself better each day and pray a lot that God grants me some more grace for all the times I’ve messed up or hurt someone. The great thing is – the more I pray – the more I feel his grace and it’s a wonderful feeling. Keep working hard, helping others, and improving yourself each day and you’ll be amazed with how you feel! Sending lots of love and prayers 😉
