Hi beautiful! How excited are you this time at camp! I wish I could see you climb that wall this year without any fear at all. Cause I know that you are incredibly strong. I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there for you. Write me and tell me how it’s going 😘

Today was the big day! I bet that big, beautiful smile of yours was making all of the other girls feel comfortable and excited about this adventure. I am sorry I wasn’t able to be there to see you off, but I was certainly thinking about you all. I can only image all of the things you will do this year, that maybe last year, was a bit challenging. I have no doubt we will have lots to celebrate at the end of the week. Remember to focus on your goals and to have fun! I will see you in a few days when we hit the trail!
Marissa, I hope you are having a great time and growing closer to God. We will continue to pray for you and ask for guidance and strength.

Yes but sorry Zeus did not make it there the winter so love you
It seems like you are having such a good time this week! I thought I would share a little devotion that I had this morning that could possibly help you this week!
1. Realize Fear is a choice – Becoming afraid of something is a choice. It might not feel like it, but you ultimately choose if you’re going to be afraid or not.
2. Combat fear by bouncing changing your thoughts.
“Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” – Phil 4:8
3. Believe that God cares about you.
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10 (NLT)
You can win the battle of fear in your life. You’ve just got to choose to shut out thoughts that aren’t from God and allow yourself to believe how much God cares for you. You also have to know that you have so many people who love and care about you and who want to walk with you in your journey of life! Keep working hard 🙂

Little by little we can see growth in leadership and communication. In many activities we are seeing Marissa take charge and put in a lot of input that Is helping the group out immensely. Also we have challenged her to everydsy leave more toys back at the house as we go throughout our day and we have seen her take a lot if initiative and push herself to achieve that goal.
Hi sissy I know you leave tomorrow in sure you will do amazing we all miss you very much I love you

Hi…my name is Gretchen and I’m a friend of many of the leaders. I’ve been praying for you and the team this week. I started a new job and I’m alone cleaning houses for 8 hours straight… so it’s plenty of time to talk to God about you this week. I got creative today and thought of an acrostic poem about your hike:
T – trying to trust others
R – recognize & receive Him
A – all around me
I – imperfect but whole
L – learning to be me
