  5. Janelly,

I am so excited that you are joining us for another year as a Junior Leader!!!!! I will be joining you this year on the hike as a Weekend Warrior. I am so looking forward to spending 4 days in God’s country with you and the other girls/staff! Janelly, you are such a loving, caring, energetic, beautiful (I love your smile!), and a positive light for the other girls!!!!!

I, personally, have never been hiking like we are about to and have to admit I am a little nervous about the experience. I am having to rely on my faith in God to help me to get through some of my super anxious moments! Aleena’s mom posted something that reminded me to remember my faith in God. I hope if you are ever in a moment of struggle that this helps you as much as it helped me. The quote is: “I have amazing potential, I can make good choices, I am never alone, I can do hard things, I am beautiful inside and out, I am of great worth/value, He has a plan for me, I know who I am, I am a daughter of God!”

You see Janelly, and I know you already know this but reminders help us sometimes, God already loves you and me and all people just the way we are!!!!! He sees our beauty and knows of our potentials. He puts us in places and experiences to help us grow and learn about the daughter’s we are supposed to be……..this is awesome!!!!!! These words also come from the Bible, they remind me that if I take a breath, give my worries/fears to God, slow down and work on calming my mind and body, eventually God speaks to me. He gives me ideas or I run into somebody that ends up teaching me a lesson through their story……..the point is if you allow God to speak to you, He will, then you don’t have to be so anxious!!!!!!

As a returning camper and Junior Leader, I know you got this girl!!!! My prayer for you, is that you will continue to grow more in your relationship with God and learn just how amazing you are through God’s eyes, this week at camp! I also pray that you continue learning new and positive ways to lead the girls well!!!! See you soon!!!!!! Love you girl!!!!

  6. Hello Janelly- We are so honored to be prayer partners with you. We heard your moving testimony at the previous Ranch Event. We know that God has great things planned for you and the girls this week. Your a great role model and the campers are blessed to have you. God will give you all the direction, wisdom and strength to move his kingdom forward during camp. You can do all things through Christ who gives you the strength. Philippians 4:13. We look forward to the miracles. Blessings!

  8. Hi Janelly!
I have been reading through the updates on your trip so far, and it sounds like such an amazing experience. I’m praying specifically for you today and your walk with God. As you lead the other girls, I pray that you also take time to talk with God and listen for what He is putting on your heart. I pray that you get some quiet time alone with Him and that God works through you and in you! I pray this experience is powerful for you as you are shining your light for others to see! Have a great day!

  9. Hello Janelly- The pictures of you and the campers are great to see so happy, so many smiles and having so much fun. Thank you so much for being salt and light for the campers. Shine on as the this world needs your beautiful light. Matthew 5:16. Also, do not be afraid or discouraged this week for God is with you wherever you go Joshua 1:9. He will help you accomplish his plans this week so continue to be the awesome leader you are and show the campers God’s perfect love which never fails. Blessings!

  10. Hello Janelly- As you start the hiking trip we pray that God gives you his strength and endurance and with that you can do and get through anything. He is there with all of you -call upon his name. Enjoy the beauty around you as you hike the water, sky and trees that God created. We pray that God gives you words of encouragement for the campers as this may be the hardest part of the trip. A favorite verse we quote as we go through hard times is Hebrews 12:2-3

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Finish the race strong. Your prayer partners.

  11. Good Morning, Janelly ☀️
I read that today you are heading to the trail! How exciting! I am praying for strength for the journey and positive leadership to help guide the other girls. I’m sure there will be moments when you’re tired, frustrated, and maybe even a little afraid or discouraged. The trail could probably be used as a symbol of our lives. We face different challenges on our life journey and experience moments and life events that can make the journey beautiful and also moments that are hard and challenging. I’m praying in those moments that you truly cling to your faith and know that God is with you. Talk with Him, Listen for Him and know that you are not alone. A favorite verse of mine is:
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10
Please know you are being lifted in prayer as you complete this awesome hike! Enjoy God’s beauty throughout the trail. I can’t wait to read all about it!!

    ❤️ Janene

  12. Hey Janelly!!! Man, I absolutely loved my time with you all yesterday and finally having the chance to meet you. It’s so amazing to have you in a junior leadership role and have you help the girls as they walk along this adventure. I know I will not be meeting with you throughout this year but hopefully, I will have the chance to chat with you again! I will be praying for you as you leave for the hike this morning, and praying that God will not only continue to use you in the lives of these girls but that He will also work amazingly in your walk with Him. See you Sunday when you all arrive home!

  13. Hello Janelly- As you continue the journey, that you grow in his love and that you pass his love to the other campers. That no matter what happens during the journey, the battle is already won and that God is Victorious over all. He loves you and the campers so much and has great plans for you all. “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you and Plans to give you a hope and future. Jeremiah 29:11
We pray that all the campers come to know his awesome love and the gift of salvation.
    Blessings your pray partners.

    1. Happy Monday Janelly- What a beautiful weekend it was and hope you had the opportunity to enjoy the weather. This is a favorite season of ours – with the leaves changing such beautiful colors, pumpkins and cider and chili. Every season is from God and for a reason and purpose. Ecclesiastes – but for all of us who love God do not experience the emptiness from being apart from God in this season. We are so blessed to be part of God’s kingdom and do not have the fears of this world. We thank you for being a blessing to the ranch and all the girls from camp. How is school going for you? Are you involved in sports? How is your family? We pray that God continues to bless you and strengthen you. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self control.
      Enjoy today’s blessing.

  14. Hello Janelly – Glad to hear that you and the campers have made it to the waterfall and through some of the toughest part of the trail and able to relax. What you and the campers are experiencing during this time is life changing. You are all working together to get through the journey and will come out changed. Cherish the experiences and the friendships that are being formed this week as I know God’s hand is in this. We pray that your faith grows deeper and that the campers accept the awesome gift of salvation. Have an awesome night. Your prayer partner.

  15. Hi Janelly!
By now, it sounds like you are well into your hike. I am sure the waterfall and time swimming was such a welcome activity after hiking! ☀️❤️
I’m continuing to pray for you and the other girls. I’m praying for endurance and strength to finish strong and for God to continue to work in and through you. I’m praying that you grow deeper in your faith through the experiences of this trip! I can’t wait to read more about what you all do today. Have a wonderful day. Please know that you are being prayed for!

    ❤️ Janene

  16. Hi Janelly! I hope things are going well for you! Are you back in school? How is it going? I just wanted to let you know that I am keeping you in my prayers during this transition back to school and activities! I’m not sure about you, but I have found many things feeling so much different this Fall. It feels different going to the grocery store, school activities, dr offices, etc. There seems to be so much tension and uncertainties. The one thing that doesn’t change in all this crazy is God. He is the same yesterday, today and forever! None of this is a surprise to Him. ❤️
I’m praying that you draw close to Him if you’re feeling anxious about the unknowns, the upsets and the unplanned! I’m praying that you turn to His word to speak to your heart and to read His promises. He promises He will never leave us nor forsake us! This gives me peace during this time and I hope it gives you peace too! Take care and be well!!

    Your Prayer Partner,

    Janene 😊

  17. Happy Wednesday Janelle- What a beautiful day it was again today. I started a bible study last night and we are studying the book of Ephesians. What a great reminder of who we are in God and spiritual blessings for us. We are blessed in the heavenly realms, chosen before the foundation of the world, adopted as a child of God, accepted in the Beloved, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, forgiven and sealed by the Holy Spirit. God loves us so much and has great plans for us. I hope this email is refreshing for you. Please know we are praying for you and if you have specific request let us know. Love your prayer partners.

  18. Happy Saturday – Hope you are enjoying this beautiful day that God has made. We took a trip last week up north to view the beauty of the leaves, water and trees. Have you been able to go on a color tour? I had my first bible study last week on Ephesians and marvel in the fact that God loved us before we were even more born and that He choses us to be Holy, blameless children of God. This is so beautiful and humbling to me. May you find peace and trust in God’s Word. Ephesians 1:4-6.
    Love your pray partners.
